Transformation of an existing events and community facility into a world class multi-purpose conference and live events centre to accommodate a wide range of exhibitions, conferences, sporting events, concerts, conventions, seminars, banquets, workshops and meetings.

The project incorporates an indoor concert and sports arena seating up to 5,000 with a two-level conference centre and associated exhibition facilities, outdoor plazas, and landscaped spaces. All spaces are linked with a glazed internal concourse lined with a solar shading system design that evokes history of the site, through which are views to the surroundings of Claudelands Park.

The project incorporates the use of Environmentally Sustainable Design principles from conception through to ongoing operation and maintenance. Scheduled for completion by 2011.
