The new RadioWorks/TV3 offices in Hamilton now 'tower' over the Waikato region, with views to die for.
Engaged to design a "funky and creative office environment, with no green", the design team at Chow:Hill were set a major challenge. RadioWorks had been given 3 months to move from their Level 7, Victoria Street address.
New premises were secured quickly and RadioWorks were to move to Level 12 of the 70s built Tower Building on Ward Street. You couldn't get more central than above Centre Place!
The Interior Design was to include a reception, four broadcasting studios, a production room and voice room, the national accounts area, boardroom/entertaining room, kitchen, marketing and creative work areas; and a regional office for TV3.
The RadioWorks offices throughout New Zealand share one thing: An extremely energetic and entertaining staff. The new site reflects that. Chow:Hill kept the colour scheme simple but strong, and used LARGE scale wall graphics to give the space personality and ownership.

Chow:Hill used Resene Pohutakawa, Wan White and Ship Grey as their base scheme colour palette, which were welcomed by the RadioWorks team. The colour scheme has definitely contributed to the "relaxed, lounge feel" all the way from the entry foyer to the toilets!
More and more, The RadioWorks use their offices to entertain new and existing clients. Part of their new ritual is to take clients on a tour of their offices to welcome them to the team.
This begins in reception, and such is the interior design, that clients are able to walk the entire office around a central core, viewing on their way the magical Line Room and Studios. This tour has increased their business and staff moral, who can now be proud and excited by their working environment.
