"Such a serene environment to work and recuperate in."

Linked to the main Waikato Hospital Campus by a dynamic pedestrian bridge, this building takes advantage of the challenging level difference across its island site to maximise natural light and outlook for its occupants. With a total floor area of 6500m2 over three levels, the facility provides 98 in-patient beds, including a 15 bed MHSOP (Mental Health Services for Older People) ward, and Out-patient and Allied Health departments.

The project formed part of the overall Service and Campus Redevelopment for Waikato DHB, designed by the CJM joint venture of Chow:Hill, Jasmax and MSJ.
