Urban design concepts for new sustainable communities within the context of the Auckland Regional Growth initiative.

The concepts, applicable to both new rural neighbourhood developments and expansion of existing settlements, combine international best practice “Urban Village” design principles with state of the art sustainable engineering related to both stormwater and waste water treatment and disposal. These concepts may be applied to rural based urban growth initiatives throughout New Zealand.
