Communications & Strategy Coordinator

As our Communications and Strategy Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our business, helping to coordinate, communicate and market Chow:Hill projects and team activities.

About you

Time management, organisation and communication will be your strengths. You’ll be adept at overseeing day to day administration, supporting our directors and management team, and coordinating travel, events and logistics.

You will have a qualification in communications, marketing, management or graphic design and bring enthusiasm and determination to your position.

Skills you have in your repertoire will include:

• Office management, including CRM system management

• Marketing support, including website updates and social media management

• Sponsorship and advertising management, including the creation of advertisements for on- and offline publications

• Strategic assistance and document preparation, including the submission of material for bids

• Development of office proformas and templates

• Event coordination, of both internal and external events

• Computer literacy, including competency with Macs, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Indesign and Photoshop, HTML coding and website maintenance

• Excellent people skills and a human centric approach to customer service

You will have bucket loads of initiative and common sense, and be someone who thrives in a busy professional environment where high standards are expected and achieved!

To be considered for this position you must also have New Zealand Residency or a valid New Zealand work visa.

Established almost 30 years ago, our team of just under 70 registered architects, architectural technicians, landscape architects, urban designers and interior designers, operate out of two studios in Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau and Hamilton Kirikiriroa, and a project office in Christchurch Otautahi.

We work with clients in the education, health, commercial, community and public realm, and take a first principles approach to sustainability where possible. Rather than pushing against an environment we endeavour to work with it, breathing new energy into existing environments through creative design and collaboration.
