Landscape Architect

If you're looking for this, we're looking for you

At Chow:Hill we shape design through collaboration, curiosity and a commitment to excellence. Our desire is to see people experience our design, creating spaces that reflect the needs and cultural sensitivities of our communities.

Established almost 30 years ago, our team of just under 70 registered architects, architectural technicians, landscape architects, urban designers, and interior designers, operate out of two studios in Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau and Hamilton/Kirikiriroa, and a project office in Christchurch/Otautahi.

We work with clients in the education, health, commercial, community and public realm, and take a first-principles approach to sustainability where possible. Rather than pushing against an environment, we endeavour to work with it, breathing new energy into existing environments through creative design and collaboration. We’re passionate about integrating people into the environment, while being sensitive to nature, mana whenua and creating places with meaning. Our team’s experience includes residential, commercial, health, mental health, aged care, dementia care and urban design projects. As part of this, we work with other design disciplines in a stimulating and challenging way, to achieve great outcomes and support ongoing learning.

If this kind of environment is of appeal, then we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be joining a team that designs with purpose, a team that enjoys the challenge of creating spaces that evoke a sense of identity, and a team that creates bespoke design solutions that deliver to our clients’ needs.

  • Graphic experience and skills of Revit, SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Enthusiasm for ongoing improvement in techniques and processes to help the team deliver and exceed client’s expectations.
