With our employee wellbeing in mind, we are looking to hire a People and Culture (P&C) Co-ordinator who will work across our three studios in New Zealand. The role can be based in either our Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau Studio or Hamilton/Kirikiriroa Studio.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to take the next step in their HR career. The role will be responsible for a number of key staff, studio, and HR processes, while also supporting the broader People, Culture & Environment Committee to deliver high quality HR advice and services to support the business. You will help create and deliver great employee experiences.

In particular you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for employees with HR-related queries
  • Provide HR administration and documentation support, working in collaboration with the CEO, Commercial Support, and People, Culture & Environment Committee
  • Manage key processes, including the probationary, long service, and employee exit processes
  • Assist the Commercial Support team by drafting employment documentation, updating policies, and attending relevant meetings
  • Support annual projects, for example, career conversations, salary reviews, team training and wellness initiatives working in co-ordination with the CEO and People, Culture & Environment Committee
  • Actively seek out opportunities to optimise systems and processes to enhance staff engagement and team wellbeing and create efficiencies in the way that we work – enabling a positive one-studio approach while supporting the distinctive culture and vibe of each.

And, in keeping with our ethos of Connect, Collaborate and Create, we are also looking for you to:

  • Be a people person with an ability to engage effectively and communicate professionally at all levels
  • Have strong organisational skills, loads of initiative and a willingness to embrace challenges head-on
  • Apply a solution-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrate a proactive, positive approach and “can do” attitude
  • Have an ability to think outside the square and work effectively within a fast-paced changing environment
  • Possess advanced computer skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Be skilled with Teams Comms and Engagement Tools such as MS Teams, Survey Monkey etc
  • Want to utilise technology to improve efficiency and user experience
  • Be committed to travelling regularly between our three Studios to support positive studio connectivity.

Ideally, your background and experience will include:

  • Extensive administration experience, preferably within a fast-paced dynamic human resource and recruitment environment
  • Experience supporting and interacting with people from all walks of life and levels of seniority
  • Demonstrated time management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and manage numerous tasks throughout the day
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent relationship skills
  • Previous experience creating and administering documents
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Relevant tertiary study in HR, business or commerce is preferred but not essential.
