Project Leader / Senior Technician or Senior Architect

If you're looking for this, we're looking for you

The opportunity

In the architecture and design industry, leadership takes on all forms. From project development to client management, leadership might be creating an innovative new design or supporting a colleague to extend their design thinking.

At Chow:Hill, fostering leaders is nothing new. Rather, it’s been an inherent part of our business since we were first founded 30 years ago. Throughout three decades we’ve developed a bespoke in-house CBD programme, established mentoring schemes and invested in ongoing leadership training with external coaches.

We respect our leaders and value the contribution they make to our team, which is why we offer a range of benefits.

The offer

Whatever project we are working on, whatever space we are designing, we do so with purpose. And we know the role greater leadership plays in ensuring that.

Which is why we offer our leaders:

  • Competitive salaries and recognition of the extra hours required for tight deadlines
  • Professional development through our bespoke in-house CPD programme, in-house mentoring programme, cultural design training and ESD
  • Career progression by way of leadership training and internal opportunities for growth and succession
  • Flexible working arrangements because we know how important work/life balance is to your wellbeing. There’s also car parking and EV charging at each of our studios and we make it a priority to have fun
  • Strong company culture where our people are recognised for the pivotal role they play in the delivery of our projects, and the effort it takes to do so. Daily conversations, regular engagement, coffee rounds and social sports teams are just a part of the Chow:Hill culture where value is placed on creating a supportive, collaborative and fun environment
  • A commitment to sustainable design practices. From our annual Sustainability Report to our internal sustainability committee, we don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk when it comes to sustainability. It’s our future after all.
