Healthcare designer Emily Wu believes good design has the potential to transform this sector, for clinicians, patients and the wider community.
Architectural Graduate Emily Wu has an extensive design portfolio, delivering projects from residential homes to large-scale housing developments, motel and house extensions to commercial fit-outs. But healthcare design is where her passion lies.
Emily believes healthcare design has the power to transform, and through her collaborative approach to the design process, Emily ensures her projects deliver facilities that support medical, nursing and administrative staff alike. Her work on the Christchurch Hospital Hagley, Acute Services Building has enabled the Canterbury DHB to offer a healthcare environment that is inviting, innovative and patient-centric.
Emily enjoys developing and delivering a caring and compassionate design aesthetic and has been involved in other notable projects, including Auckland City Hospital’s Integrated Stroke Unit and Braemar Hospital’s Medical Services Building in Hamilton.
