Healthcare designer and experienced architectural professional, Malcolm Sharpe, has been influential in shaping the design of many aged care facilities in Australasia.

As a senior project architect and design manager, Malcolm Sharpe is responsible for managing the successful outcome of project meetings and client briefs, and delivering programme requirements on time and on budget. During his more than 25 years in the industry, Malcolm has been involved in a wide range of architectural challenges, for the retirement industry especially, in both New Zealand and Australia. His areas of expertise include design management, team leadership, project co-ordination, procurement and contract administration, including resource and building consent applications, and on-site observation.

Malcolm has contributed his specialist knowledge of the retirement sector to many industry award-winning projects, and has been closely involved with all stages of the Meadowbank and Lady Allum Retirement Villages in Auckland, and Awatere Village, Hamilton.

A long-standing member of the Chow:Hill Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau studio, Malcolm plays an important role in mentoring younger members of the team.
