Chow:Hill is a sponsor of Child Matters' annual event Buddy Day, and last Friday we were pleased to be part of this day for a third year in a row.

The purpose of the Buddy Day initiative is to help raise awareness and start a national conversation on how to do better for our kids, and create environments in which they can flourish. Child Matters sent thousands of life-size cardboard 'Buddies' made by primary school kids, into various communities for the day.

At Chow:Hill, we had fifteen buddies join us in the office, and accompanied us on our lunches, errands, and some employees event took them home for the weekend. We believe Buddy Day makes a tangible and positive difference to the lives of kids in New Zealand.
