Michael Davis loves the positive influence great architecture can have on people. That’s why the Senior Architectural Technician wants every building he’s involved with to be the best it possibly can.
Michael believes architecture is a wonderful synthesis of art, science and business, with the power to shape entire cities and change people’s lives. During his more than 25 years in the industry, Michael has seen the impact effective design can have on communities.
As Michael has observed, we’re all affected in some way by the homes we live in, the offices where we work, the hospitals we’re treated in, the schools we learn in, and the buildings we interact with.
Michael plays a valuable role in creating these interactions, bringing together the technical demands of budgets, building consent applications, tender documents and the like with the client's and architect's aesthetic aspirations. He works across a range of sectors, in concept work, design development, detailing, monitoring construction and overseeing contract administration. Projects include Kāinga Ora Atkinson Avenue Apartments, Otahuhu and Wentworth Precinct Community Centre, Papatoetoe.
