Inspired by architectural restoration and reconstruction, Julia Kulakova brings international experience to her role as an Architectural Technician in Chow:Hill’s Hamilton studio.
Educated and trained in Russia, Julia has lived, worked, and studied among buildings that are generations old. That longevity of architecture has fuelled her desire to preserve architecture for future generations, breathing new life into existing buildings through contemporary and innovative design practices.
Fascinated by trends in sustainable development, VR and augmented reality, Julia is committed to utilising technologies that not only improve the design and construction phases of a project, but assist in the asset management, maintenance, and demolition of building in the future.
Julia brings residential, commercial and interior design experience to the Chow:Hill team, and enjoys the challenge of transforming ideas into outcomes that both fascinate people and meet the needs of the end user.
An enthusiastic hiker, Julia also boasts impressive skills on the volleyball court!
