As an Architectural Technician, Nathan McNaull brings an exceptional technical ability to projects, turning concepts into reality for clients by using architectural programs and the latest design software.

Nathan’s interest in architecture stems from his enthusiasm for creative thinking and problem-solving, and his love of drafting. When Nathan details, he never looks at something in isolation, always exploring the model in a 3D mindscape until everything connected has been considered.

Nathan believes that drafting is a unique form of communication with others, where he wraps up all of his research, discussions, and thoughts into an A1 set. Because of this, he works to eliminate ambiguity and make sure his drawings are clear, accurate, and readable. His commitment to delivering comprehensive documentation sees him collaborate successfully with clients and industry partners to achieve results of the highest quality.

Working out of Chow: Hill’s Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau studio, Nathan has been involved in projects spanning all sectors, including: the Union Square large mixed-use developments; 214 Collingwood St office fit-out and extension; residential housing developments; Waipapa, Acute Services Building; Kāinga Ora Otahuhu Apartments; Wentworth Precinct Community Centre; and multiple retirement villages such as Meadowbank, Everil Orr, Awatere and Elmwood.

Through meticulous co-ordination and detailing, troubleshooting design, and 3D modelling, Nathan’s technical skills enable Chow:Hill to present real working models to clients.
