Interior Designer Amy Land enjoys the challenge of creating functional yet engaging interiors in which our clients feel a sense of connection with their surroundings.

Specialising in the interior design and documentation of healthcare and aged care projects, Interior Designer Amy Land works closely with Chow:Hill’s Architecture and Health design teams to produce interior spaces which complement and enhance the surrounding architecture.

Amy enjoys the process of working with the client to interpret and execute their vision. She draws on close relationships with clients, suppliers and industry professionals to bring about the best outcome for all. Collaboration and communication are essential in achieving a successful design that meets the needs and desires of both the client and future end user.

She also enjoys challenging traditional design aesthetic, viewing public spaces as an opportunity to be bold and to bring joy to users, as was evident in her use of vibrant colour to complement the Flox artwork at the Starship Hospital Day Stay Unit’s refurbishment and similarly through the design scheme of the ADHB Adult Rehabilitation Integrated Stroke Unit.

Amy’s design work extends into the commercial space, with projects such as Planet Espresso and McElroy Law’s office fit-out among her portfolio. She also has an interest in residential design, with a particular focus on the challenge of small spaces and how both functionality and comfort can be maximised through the use of thoughtful interior design.
