Architectural Graduate Vatra Bandur enjoys the feeling of satisfaction she shares with her team after a collaborative effort brings a project to life.
Trained in her homeland of Croatia, Vatra has enjoyed a successful career, creating architectural designs across a range of sectors, from residential to healthcare. A member of the Chow:Hill Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau studio’s architecture design team, Vatra has been involved with social housing and numerous health and aged care facilities, bringing her passion for transformational design to each project.
Vatra has developed significant expertise in all phases of a design project, from early consent stages through to construction and project administration. Projects of note include Waikato and Christchurch Hospitals in the health care sector; Meadowbank, Lady Allum and St Andrew’s Retirement Villages; multiple Kāinga Ora projects, and housing projects at Auckland’s Hobsonville Point.
Fascinated by the future of sustainable design, Vatra has been focusing on projects intensifying city density, through good design and positive collaboration with our clients and consultant teams.
